Women’s Wellness Psychotherapy Services does not accept insurance.

Accepted forms of payment includes cash, HSA/FSA (Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account), and most major credit cards.

Insurance reimbursement for therapy services may be available if you possess out-of-network coverage. Upon your request, we will provide a “super bill” that you may submit to your insurance provider to facilitate reimbursement on your behalf. Clients can take advantage of this benefit to access more affordable therapy.

If you have any inquiries about your out-of-network benefits, please reach out to your insurance company directly.

Reasons Why We Do Not Accept Insurance…

Empowerment in Your Treatment Journey. You have the autonomy to make key decisions regarding your care, such as selecting your therapist, determining the frequency and duration of your treatment, as well as maintaining complete control around all topics discussed during therapy sessions (which can be subject to rejection when billing insurance).

Enhanced Privacy and Confidentiality. We prioritize and ensure your privacy and confidentiality during your treatment, while also recognizing the necessary exceptions/limits to maintain your well-being. Your privacy is paramount.

Freedom from Mandatory Diagnosis. We understand the importance of discretion, which means your medical record won't carry a mental health disorder diagnosis unless you choose/request otherwise. This approach maintains a clear distinction between your mental health diagnoses and your private health records, as they are entirely separate.

Influence on Insurance and Life Insurance. Your mental health diagnosis and treatment will not result in increased insurance premiums or affect your life insurance policies.

Continuity of Care. You may stay with your therapist even in the event of changes to your insurance plan coverage.

Positive Treatment Outcomes: Research has uncovered that financially contributing to treatment yields more advantageous and positive outcomes.

Advantages of Accessing Out-Of-Network Benefits With “Superbills”

A superbill is a detailed receipt you'll receive from us on a monthly basis after your therapy sessions. It includes everything your insurance company needs, such as service dates, fees, and diagnostic codes. By submitting your superbill to your insurance company, you can potentially receive out-of-network reimbursement, helping to lower your therapy costs while still allowing you to work with the therapist you feel most comfortable with. It's a great way to make therapy more affordable without sacrificing quality care.

Talk to your insurance provider directly to discuss your out-of-network benefits and to learn more about submitting superbills!

No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate

The No Surprises Act is a law designed to protect you from unexpected medical bills and helps ensure that your medical bills are transparent and fair, protecting you from unexpected costs. Upon scheduling, each client will receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). A GFE is a clear, upfront breakdown of the expected costs for your psychotherapy services. It helps you know what to expect financially before you receive care, especially when you’re opting to pay out-of-pocket. This estimate includes all fees related to the services, so there are no surprises when the bill arrives.

So, what’s next? It’s easy!

  • Step 1: Book your 20-minute consultation.

Let’s take time to chat over the phone to see if we are a good match to begin working together, and if we are the right clinicians to best support you and your needs!

  • Step 2: Schedule the Intake Evaluation & Complete All New Client Paperwork.

Following the consultation, if we are a good match, we will find the best time to schedule your intake evaluation. Once scheduled, all new client documentation will be sent to you for completion prior to the intake.

  • Step 3: Meet for the Intake Evaluation.

During the intake evaluation, we will get to know one another, discuss current concerns and what brings you to therapy, and begin to explore your goals. Don’t worry, I will guide you through this entire session step-by-step! If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, I will be sure to provide you with a referral to better suit your therapeutic needs.

  • Step 4: Let's embark on our journey of working together!

During our sessions, we'll focus on building skills and tackling challenges together. Each session will be tailored just for you, with the main goal being for you to consistently walk away with something that helps you continue to move forward, whether that be new skills, self-awareness, or newfound insights.
